The Wagon Shed is an old post and beam, real wagon shed, that is adjacent to a music store called Gunpowder String Works located in New Freedom, Pennsylvania, USA. The concert room is on the second floor and has all exposed wood posts, beams and sidewalls. It’s a small room with excellent sound and it’s always packed with a great crowd.

We have had many great artists at our series including David Bromberg, Jonathan Edwards, Rory Block, Paul Rishell and Annie Raines, Frank Vignola, Tony Trischka, The Country Gentlemen, Chesapeake, Hot Club of Cowtown, Robinella, Cahalen Morrison & Eli West, Rob Ickes, Jim Hurst, The Stray Birds, David Grier, Bucky Pizzarelli, Mike Auldridge and many others. It’s a favorite venue for many artists. Check out pictures from past shows!

This is a not-for-profit series. Volunteers donate their time and resources. It’s about providing a place for great music, great musicians and great people to listen.

Audio and video recordings of past shows can be found at www.songside.com.
